Barbara Jean Shaw, 55, of West Richland passed away on November 12, 2009. Born May 10, 1954 in Youngstown, OH, Barbara Good moved many times as a child settling in Richland where she attended Carmichael Junior High and graduated in 1972 from Richland's Columbia High School.

In December 1972, she became Barbara Shaw marrying Gregory ('70), ending up in West Richland. She had a deep dedication to raising her three children, helping them succeed to their fullest capacity. She enjoyed being outdoors, playing in the dirt, attending to her garden and rose bushes. She enjoyed spending time at Cannon Beach, riding her motorcycle and flying.

Since 1997, Barbara loved her work with Ben-Franklin Transit Dial-A-Ride. She took great joy in providing transportation and care to clients and creating friendships with riders and co-workers, especially her friend and mentor Mr. Bob Harris. Prior to BFT, she was a co-owner of P & K Towing with her husband.

The joys of her life were her three grandchildren. She also took great pleasure watching her children succeed in their chosen careers. She loved her best friend and lil' sis, Bibi.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Greg ('70); children: Stacey, Travis (Shalina) and Brian (Jill); and her grandchildren: Hunter, Jillian and Lennon. She is also survived by her father, Elmer Good; her mother, Elizabeth and Richard Widmer; siblings: Vivian "Viv" ('74), Kathy, Mark and Michael; in-laws: Florrie, Eileen, Byron, Edward and Eve Shaw; nieces and nephews: Pamela, RustyLee, Granger, Michael, Daniel and Katy, as well as her Aunt Pat and Uncle Jim.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Einan's Funeral Home, Sunset Event Center in Richland.
