Robert Charles "Rob" Martinson ^Jr, age 46, was born August 10, 1954 in Richland and died on Sunday, October 15, 2000 in Richland. He was a 1972 graduate of Richland's Columbia High School.

He was an electrician for Sun River Electric and a member of IBEW Local 112. He volunteered with the Tri-City Water Follies Rescue Team and was a member of Columbia Basin Dive Rescue. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Robert was always willing to help others and volunteered much of his time.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Elsa (Heinen) Martinson of Richland; daughter, Christine Dallas of Puyallup; fiancée, Tracy Greene and her children: Jasmine, Aspen and Jonathon Greene; sister, Mary Martinson O'Connor ('74) and her children: Julie, Shannon and Scott O'Conner; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne Martinson Poynor ('79) and Corey Poynor ('86 honorary) and their children: Lynn Backer, Whitney Poynor and Brooke Poynor all of Richland; uncle and aunt, R. Ken and Marge Stocker and cousins: Becky and George Adams; Helen and Bob Burke; Toni, Mick and Lexi Winborg; and numerous relatives and special friends.

Memorial services were at 3pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2000, at Einan's Funeral Home.

Note: His father, Robert Martinson ^Sr, passed away at the age of 87 on October 23, 2017.
