DANIEL LEO "DANNY" NORWOOD ~ Class of 1972 Honorary

Daniel Leo "Danny" Norwood was born June 9, 1953 in Ada, OK to Alvin Wayne and Eva Lee Vanderburg Norwood.

He lived in the Tri-Cities since 1955 and attended school with the Class of 1972 at Richland's Columbia High School. He graduated from Crescent High School in Crescent, OK.

Danny was a pipefitter.

He passed away at the age of 49 on May 26, 2003. Danny was apparently found drowned on the banks of the Yakima River downstream from Benton City.

Danny is survived by his intimate friend, Kathy Newberry; mother, Eva Norwood; and his brothers, Dr. Michael Wayne Norwood and Dr. Samuel Norwood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Norwood, who passed away at the age of 74 on February 23, 2002.

Einan's Funeral Home in Richland was in charge of the arrangments.

Burial was at Oakland-Knowles Cemetery in Crescent, OK.



Note:

His brother, Dr. Michael Wayne Norwood, passed away at the age of 51 on December 26, 2006.

His mother, Eva Lee Vanderburg Norwood, passed away at the age of 77 on December 30, 2008.
