Robert Louis Owen, 65, of Richland, died March 5, 2019 in Kennewick.

He was born in Richland on July 26, 1953 to Velma Lois Jones Owen and Giles L. Owen..

Bob attended school with the Class of 1972 at Richland's Columbia High School but left prior to graduation when he enlisted in the U. S. Navy.

He had one brother, James Patrick "Jim" Owen ^Jr ('74 honorary).

Bob married Robin Fitzsimmons in 1981. To this union, one child was born. The marriage ended in a divorce in 1984.

He was a truck driver.

Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, handled the arrangements.

Note: His brother, Jim, passed away May 15, 2024.
