KEVIN DEVON RICHARDSON ~ Class of 1972
July 17, 1953 - January 14, 2017



After a protracted battle with cancer, Kevin Richardson died on January 14, 2017 at his home in Kennewick at the age of 63. Kevin was born on July 17, 1953 in Sacramento, CA to Charles "AL" and Leona Richardson.

He graduated with the Class of 1972 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Kevin grew up in a loving family and is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia; sons, Chad, Charlie (Katie), Justin and Ethan; daughter, Angela; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; father, Charles "AL" Richardson; two brothers, Rick ('75) (Beth) and Dan; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles along with many lifelong friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Leona Richardson, who passed away on May 15, 2010.

Kevin was a driven outdoorsman with a love for hunting and fishing. When diagnosed with lung cancer in 2012, he remained dedicated in his passion to hunt and fish. In his will to fight his illness he remained a brave, iron-willed loving family man, even throughout his final months he loved to hunt with his family and friends.

At Kevin's request there will be no funeral but rather a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date. All family and friends will be invited to attend. The family would especially like to thank Kadlec Hospital, Chaplaincy Hospice Care for their excellent work, loving care and the Critical Nursing Staff for their constant, attentive treatment.
